How we process and protect your data.
Diego SEO ("we", "us", "our") operates diego-seo.com. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide when visiting or purchasing through this website. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable German data protection law (BDSG).
When you fill in the contact form or purchase a service, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, country, and project description. If you proceed to payment, Stripe processes your payment details directly - we do not see or store your card information.
Our web server logs IP addresses, browser type, and pages accessed as part of standard server operation. These logs are retained for a maximum of 14 days and used only for security and diagnostic purposes.
We process contact and order data on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For cookies and analytics, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
We use your personal data to: respond to your enquiry, process and deliver your order, send project-related communications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
Stripe, Inc. processes payment data. Their privacy policy applies to payment processing: stripe.com/privacy. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except where required by German law.
We use a single first-party cookie to store your cookie consent choice. No third-party analytics cookies are placed without your consent. You can decline non-essential cookies using our cookie banner.
We retain order records for 7 years as required by German commercial law (Handelsgesetzbuch). Contact enquiry records are deleted after 2 years if no project is initiated.
Under GDPR you have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; withdraw consent at any time; object to processing; and lodge a complaint with the German data protection authority (BfDI) or your local supervisory authority.
